Saona Island Full Day
Overview
Some places you visit, and some places you feel.
Saona Island is the second kind: sand so white it never feels hot underfoot, water so turquoise it seems edited, and an endless line of palm trees that look like they were planted just to shade you. With Godspeed Way, getting to this untouched piece of the Caribbean is exactly as easy and safe as travel should always be: we pick you up, we take care of the ride, and we let you live the rest.
The adventure begins with a sail to the island by catamaran or speedboat. Once there, the beach is yours: open bar with local drinks, lunch included, and the ocean as your only agenda. Then comes the stop everyone remembers: the natural pool, a sandbar out in the middle of the sea where the water barely reaches your waist, so cinematic it was actually used as a filming location for 'Blue Lagoon'. A once-in-a-lifetime experience... that you'll want to have again.
About Saona Island
Saona is a tropical island located just off the southeastern tip of the Dominican Republic, protected within Parque Nacional del Este (East National Park). Its waters are a wildlife sanctuary, home to birds, tropical fish, and coral reefs. Just offshore, natural sandbars create shallow, waist-deep waters: the famous natural pool where thousands of starfish share the sea with visitors.
